Dimitrios Papageorgiou is an Associate in the International Arbitration group at Eversheds Sutherland in Paris. He focuses on investor-state and international commercial arbitration, acting under UNCITRAL, ICSID, ICC, and LCIA rules. He advises and represents sovereign states, state-owned entities, and multinational corporations in high-stakes disputes spanning the energy, telecommunications, banking, and construction sectors. His experience includes advising on treaty-based claims, jurisdictional challenges, and enforcement proceedings, often involving complex cross-border issues and public international law. He has degrees in transnational commercial law and international dispute settlement from Greece and Geneva respectively. He also studied public and private international law at the Hague. He is admitted to the Thessaloniki Bar in Greece and is also registered with the Paris Bar in France.
