As Executive Director of AmCham, Mr. Erlich leads the Chamber’s work to strengthen the business and investment climate in Kazakhstan. He previously served as Senior Social Performance Advisor at Chevron and as Deputy Head of the OSCE’s long-term mission in Ukraine. Mr. Erlich first came to Kazakhstan as a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer and later led the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia, building a career focused on governance, development, and stakeholder engagement. He holds master’s degrees from the Fletcher School and the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor’s degree from The American University.
